Jan-Just Meerman

Jan-Just Meerman, CFA, serves as the Head of Strategy and Balance Sheet Management at Pensioenfonds Rail & Openbaar Vervoer since January 2021, focusing on asset-liability management, investment policy, ESG policy, and investment portfolio rebalancing while participating in the New Pension Reform project. Prior experience includes co-leading the Strategy and Balance Sheet Management team and serving as a Senior Investment Strategist at SPF Beheer, where Jan-Just represented the strategy team in investment committees and advised on investment policies for significant pension funds. Earlier roles include Chief Investment Officer and Head of Investments at Wilgenhaege Vermogensbeheer BV, overseeing research, discretionary portfolios, and investment mandates, as well as positions in wealth management focused on asset research and portfolio implementation. Educational credentials feature a Master’s in Finance and Investments from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Master’s in Quantitative Finance from Amsterdam Business School.
