Marcia Shanahan

Marcia Shanahan has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to business analysis and change management. Marcia is currently working as the Business Analysis Chapter Lead at Pension Insurance Corporation plc. Prior to this, they worked as the Business Analysis Manager at Hastings Direct from 2020 to 2021. From 2016 to 2020, Marcia held the role of Head of Business Analysis (Change Practice Manager) at Coventry Building Society, where they led multiple teams and delivered a portfolio of change projects and programs. Before that, they worked at Mitie and Utilyx as the Head of Process Excellence and Head of Business Change, respectively. Marcia also has experience working at BT Wholesale, BT, Sherwood International, and AGF Insurance (Allianz) in various business analysis and consulting roles.

Marcia Shanahan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Combined Honours - Psychology and Politics from Aston University, which they attended from 1990 to 1993. Marcia also received certifications in ACII from the Chartered Insurance Institute in 1999 and Prince 2 from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
