Paul Rainey

Paul Rainey serves as PMC’s Executive Vice President of Operations and Finance. An accomplished senior executive with over 10 years of financial leadership experience across multiple verticals, Paul has a fundamental understanding of financial operations and accounting, with a broad executive background and extensive international experience in billion-dollar operations spanning five continents. Paul is a dynamic executive with proven business acumen, result-driven leadership and a strong skill set encompassing regulatory compliance, capital markets, financial planning and analysis, communication, business growth and all aspects of mergers and acquisitions.

Paul is the former Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Global Eagle Entertainment, a public company in the entertainment and satellite communications industry. Under Paul’s financial leadership, the company secured a $150 million private equity investment. Prior to that, Paul was Chief Financial Officer of Harris CapRock Communications where he led the successful sale of that business for $425 million. Before joining Harris CapRock Communications, Paul held several financial leadership roles with increasing responsibilities spanning 15 years with the General Electric Company including CFO of GE Lighting Professional Solutions and their Power Equipment business. Paul’s industry experience spans financial services and entertainment including gaming and Hollywood movie content studio curation and distribution, as well as manufacturing industries including aviation, energy, healthcare and lighting.

He holds a Master of Science in Accountancy and a BBA in Finance and Computer Applications from the University of Notre Dame where he graduated cum laude. Straight out of Notre Dame, he attended General Electric’s intensive 24-month Financial Management Program as well as GE’s Corporate Audit Executive Leadership Training. He is also Black Belt Six Sigma certified.
