Richard Thwaites

Richard Thwaites has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Richard currently serves as the CEO of Penso Power Limited since December 2017. Previously, they held the positions of Chairman and Board Director / Adviser at Limejump Ltd from September 2013 to February 2019. Richard also worked as the Managing Partner and Partner at Emergent Capital Partners from January 2015 to November 2017. Additionally, they worked as the Director at Buy My Wardrobe from September 2011 to January 2015 and as the Director at Boxwish Limited from January 2009 to September 2011. Prior to that, they served as a Director at HSBC from May 2004 to November 2008, focusing on the European Leisure and Consumer Brands investment banking sector team. Richard started their career at Amersham PLC in January 2003 and worked there until May 2004 in the Corporate Development role. Furthermore, they worked as an Associate and Analyst at Morgan Stanley from January 1995 to November 2002.

Richard Thwaites received their BA (Hons) degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Strathclyde in 1993, and later went on to complete their MSc in Business and Technology at the same university in 1994.
