Monique Hissom

Monique Hissom is a seasoned professional in the medical laboratory field with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Quality Assurance Laboratory Manager at the Pentagon Force Protection Agency since March 2023, Monique has previously held significant positions within the United States Air Force, including Medical Laboratory Technician and Senior Noncommissioned Officer. From March 2018 to March 2023, Monique worked at the Defense Health Agency as the Senior Enlisted Leader for Small Market and Standalone Organization Laboratories and as the Air Force Program Manager for the DoD Clinical Laboratory Improvement Program. Additionally, Monique was the Quality Assurance Program Manager at the Armed Services Whole Blood Processing Laboratory from March 2015 to March 2018. Monique holds an Associate in Applied Science degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from the Community College of the Air Force and a Bachelor of Science from Thomas Edison State University.
