Laura Bednasz

Laura Bednasz currently serves as General Manager for Pool Automation & Lights at Pentair since January 2025. Prior to this role, Laura spent over a decade at Xylem, a Fortune 500 global water technology company, where Laura held various leadership positions including Vice President of Marketing & Customer Service, Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, and Vice President of Product Management. Laura was instrumental in managing a $1 billion global product portfolio focused on Smart Metering solutions and led strategic initiatives that streamlined operations company-wide. Earlier experiences include roles at Northrop Grumman Corporation, 3Phoenix, The Boeing Company, and other organizations, contributing expertise in software project management and embedded systems. Laura holds a Master of Science in Product Development from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics & Computer Science from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
