Tom Wiesen

Tom Wiesen is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and process development. Currently serving as Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Pentair since April 2014, Tom previously contributed as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Viridian Green Laser Sights and co-founded AVOW, where the focus was on developing solutions for manual and automated assembly. With a strong background in controls engineering, Tom has also worked on various contract engineering assignments and held a Senior Controls Engineer position at Cummins Inc. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with a certificate in Smart Manufacturing from MIT. Tom's diverse expertise encompasses R&D, process improvement methodologies such as Lean and Kaizen, and comprehensive project management within the manufacturing sector.
