Kate Spencer

Kate Spencer, MSN, RN has extensive work experience in various roles within the healthcare industry. Kate is currently serving as a Commissioner for Practice Transition Programs at the American Nurses Credentialing Center. In this role, they lead collaborations and makes qualification decisions for transition programs seeking accreditation.

Prior to their current position, Kate worked at Pentec Health for several years, holding roles such as Executive Nurse Director, Nurse Director, Regional Nurse Manager, and Specialty Infusion Nurse.

Kate also served as the Director of Regional Operations & Business Development at Rehab at Work, Corp and Director of Worker's Compensation Care at Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center.

Earlier in their career, Kate held positions including Director of Complex Care Management at Quest Comprehensive Care Network, Clinical Nurse Consultant at Critical Care America, Physician Services Division CARE PLUS, Director of Nursing, Infusion Therapy at Care Plus, ICU Nurse at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, and Staff Nurse at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Kate Spencer, MSN, RN completed their Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from Skidmore College, with a field of study in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Kate then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Organizational Leadership from the University of South Carolina, which they successfully completed in the years 2017 to 2019.
