Tyler Ko

Tyler Ko has a diverse work experience in various financial roles. Tyler started their career as an Accountant Intern at The Wornick Company, where they supported the manufacturing of Meals Ready to Eat (MREs) for the United States military. After that, Tyler interned as a Business Analyst at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where they contributed to planned and ad hoc projects and improved the Onboarding process.

Following their internships, Tyler joined Baxter International Inc. in 2015 as a Financial Analyst in the Financial Development Program Intern role. Tyler worked with the US Hospital Products Finance Decision Support team, handling month-end close responsibilities and participating in ad hoc projects. Tyler also took part in a volunteer service project with a non-profit organization.

After completing the internship, Tyler held various financial analyst roles at Baxter International Inc. Tyler was a Financial Analyst in Corporate Consolidations, where they supported monthly accounting close processes and worked on global financial statement consolidation. Tyler also contributed to working capital analysis and process improvements.

Tyler then became a Financial Analyst in Investor Relations, where they played a key role in effectively communicating Baxter's strategy and financial performance to investors and the public. Tyler conducted research on market dynamics, competitor performance, and industry trends, and collaborated on the construction and delivery of Baxter's long-term strategy through an Investor Conference.

In 2018, Tyler became a Senior Financial Analyst at Baxter, first in the Global Delivery Center in San Jose, Costa Rica, where they owned management reporting for Baxter's global businesses, R&D, and technical services. Tyler then moved to the Global Advanced Surgery division, where they were responsible for the financial planning and reporting of Baxter's US surgical business and central consolidation of the global surgical business.

Most recently, Tyler has joined Pentec Health as the Director of Business Development, starting in 2023.
