Hooman D. Tavakolian is a seasoned compliance professional currently serving as the Global Chief Compliance Officer at Pentwater Capital Management LP since August 2022. With extensive experience in compliance roles across several organizations, Tavakolian has previously held positions as Chief Compliance Officer at Cyrus Capital Partners and Independent Compliance Consultant for various investment advisory firms. As a founder of Hoomanities Inc., a nonprofit focused on empowering youth through sports, Tavakolian also contributes to the wrestling community as a board member for the Titan Mercury Wrestling Club and has held leadership roles with USA Wrestling and United World Wrestling. Tavakolian's educational background includes advanced degrees in Finance and Compliance, International Business, and Psychology, and currently pursuing a PhD in International Management at North Central University.
