Dawn Macmurray

Dawn MacMurray is Senior Vice President at People Inc., a leading not-for-profit health and human services agency providing programs and services to more than 10,000 people with special needs, their families, and seniors throughout Western New York and the Greater Rochester region. With an operating budget of $143 million and nearly 4,000 employees, People Inc. has assisted people to achieve greater degrees of independence and productivity since 1970.

MacMurray joined People Inc. in 2000 as a part time employee in residential and since then has risen through the ranks to serve in various residential leadership positions. As senior vice president, MacMurray is responsible for the residential and behavior health programs.

MacMurray received a Master’s degree in multidisciplinary studies at Buffalo State College and a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Buffalo State College. She is active in the local community and is a member of the Trauma Informed Care Initiative of Western New York. MacMurray is a graduate of Leadership Buffalo and is also a Certified Lean Professional.
