Cynthia Williams Young

Cynthia Williams Young is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human resources, executive administration, and organizational development. Currently serving as a Human Resources Consultant at People Results since April 2022, Cynthia assists organizations in enhancing employee engagement and productivity. Previously, in roles at UT Southwestern Medical Center from February 2014 to January 2021, Cynthia developed executive coaching practices and strategic initiatives to inspire and equip staff. At Ambit Energy, from May 2010 to May 2013, Cynthia built the People Department and ensured alignment with the company's core values. Additionally, during a 21-year tenure at Southwest Airlines, Cynthia held various leadership positions, notably founding departments focused on employee relations and internal customer care, while also contributing to diversity and inclusion efforts. Cynthia's career began as an Investigative Caseworker for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and as a Secondary School Teacher in multiple school districts, complemented by a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Texas.
