Kelvin Lau

Kelvin Lau has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Kelvin began their career in 2007 as an Equity Derivatives Specialist at Merrill Lynch, where they gained experience in investing and wealth management. In 2008, they moved to Axion Investment Management Ltd, where they held a position as an Operation Associate, responsible for trade support operations.

In 2010, Kelvin joined Michael Page Hong Kong as a Recruitment Manager, specializing in the Technology & Digital/eCommerce sector. Kelvin led a team and oversaw technology recruitment operations for banking and commercial institutions. After five years at Michael Page, they transitioned to Ambition in 2015, where they served as a Principal Consultant.

Kelvin's next move was to Robert Walters in 2016, where they worked as a Recruitment Manager, focusing on recruiting Technology professionals for financial and commercial institutions. Kelvin built a team from the ground up and operated in this role until 2020.

In 2021, Kelvin joined ALS International, a leading executive search firm, as an Associate Director. Kelvin specialized in the Financial Services, Legal, and Commerce sectors and provided regional recruitment services through offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Shanghai. Kelvin'stenure at ALS International lasted until 2022.

Most recently, Kelvin joined Peoplebank as an Associate Director in the Technology & Digital sector. Peoplebank is the largest IT&T recruitment company in Australia, with operations extending into Asia.

Throughout their career, Kelvin has gained extensive knowledge of the local market, built strong global networks, and worked with multinational clients.

Kelvin Lau attended Markville Secondary School, where they completed their high school education in the year 2002. Kelvin then enrolled at the University of Toronto - New College, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Commerce & Finance. Kelvin completed their undergraduate studies in 2006.
