Barclay Rae

Barclay Rae is an accomplished consultant, author, and business owner with extensive experience in IT Service Management (ITSM). Since founding Barclay Rae Consulting Ltd in 2010, Barclay has provided independent consulting services across various companies. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor for PeopleCert and co-hosting the Enterprise Digital podcast, Barclay actively contributes to the development and promotion of ITIL and Service Management. Past roles include CEO of ITSMF UK, Director at EssentialSM, and author for ITIL 4 with AXELOS Global Best Practice. Barclay's career is marked by significant contributions to professional services, consultancy, and the evolution of service management practices. Barclay holds a MA Hons in Philosophy and Art History from the University of Glasgow.
