Michael Capps has a diverse work experience background, starting as a Computer Programmer at Texas Instruments/Raytheon in 1997. Michael then transitioned to Paradigm Entertainment as a Game Programmer before joining Ensemble Studios in 2004 as a Game Programmer, where they worked on various game titles. After Ensemble Studios, they joined Bonfire Studios as a Senior Game Programmer, which was later acquired by Zynga. Michael then moved to Zynga as a Senior Game Programmer, working on successful projects like CastleVille. Later, they joined Boss Fight Entertainment as the Lead Game Programmer, focusing on high-quality free-to-play mobile games. In 2021, Michael Capps became a Principal Software Engineer at PeopleFun.

Michael Capps completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering and Mathematics at Southern Methodist University from 1992-1996. Michael then went on to earn their Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the same university from 1998-2004.
