Prior to their role at PeopleOne Health, Dr. Khalil worked as an Internal Medicine Physician and Clinical IT Consultant. Ramy provided comprehensive medical care to patients and offered expertise in healthcare technology to various organizations.

Dr. Khalil also served as the Medical Informatics Officer at M*Modal, where they provided clinical input for existing and developing software offerings. Ramy was a superuser of the Fluency Direct product and contributed to the development of the Fluency Assistant product.

Before joining M*Modal, Dr. Khalil practiced as a Board-certified Internal Medicine Physician at St. Clair Hospital. Ramy maintained an outpatient and inpatient skillset and mentored medical residents and nurse practitioner students. Ramy also led the clinical arm of an initiative to transition practices within the St. Clair network to a new EMR system.

Dr. Khalil began their medical career as a Resident Physician in Internal Medicine at UPMC. Ramy also completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Boston Medical Center.

Ramy Khalil, MD began their education in 2005 at the University of Pennsylvania, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Ramy completed this degree in 2009. Following their undergraduate studies, they attended The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences from 2009 to 2013, earning their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a focus on Medicine.

In addition to their formal education, Ramy Khalil, MD has obtained several certifications. In 2017, they received certification in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. More recently, in April 2023, they obtained the AMIA 10x10 Informatics Certification from the American Medical Informatics Association.
