David L. Mead

David L. Mead is the current Chairman at Peoples Bank. David has held this position since May 2016. Prior to that, they were the Vice President for Business Affairs at Otterbein University from September 2006 to June 2010. David also served as the Interim Chief Executive Officer and President at Peoples Bancorp, Inc. from August 2010 to April 2011. Additionally, Mead has been a Director at Peoples Bancorp, Inc. since April 2006 and Chairman of the Board since March 2021.

Mead began their career as a controller at Huntington Bancshares Incorporated in February 1980. David then became the Acting Manager at Arthur Andersen & Co. in July 1976 before moving on to SVP Finance at Mid Am Inc./Sky Financial Group in June 1992.

David L. Mead has a MBA in Finance from Xavier University and a BA in Business Administration/Accounting from Otterbein University.
