Jason Fontaine

Jason Fontaine is a seasoned professional in engineering and technology within the electric cooperative sector, currently serving as the Sr. Manager of Engineering and Technology at People's Electric Cooperative since August 2021. Prior to this role, Jason held various positions including Director of Engineering at Cookson Hills Electric Co-Op and Technical Products Specialist at Arkansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. Jason's earlier experience includes serving as a Sales Engineer at Cooper Power Systems and managing engineering at Arkansas Valley Electric Cooperative. Jason's career began in the US Navy as a Sonar Technician for submarines. An alumnus of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Jason obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
