Vanessa Hall

Vanessa Hall has a diverse background in media relations, community engagement, and communications, currently serving as the Manager of Community Partnerships & Engagement and Manager of Media Relations at Peoples Gas since June 2016. Prior experience includes holding the position of Director of Media and Government Relations at Oak Street Health and Senior Manager of US Corporate Communications at BMO Financial Group. Vanessa also served as Assistant Press Secretary for both mayors Rahm Emanuel and Richard M. Daley in the City of Chicago, where responsibilities included preparing communication packages and managing media calendars. Additional roles at NBC Universal and WSNS Telemundo Chicago involved producing content, researching stories, and conducting interviews. Vanessa Hall holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Columbia College Chicago and a certification from the United Way Board Leadership Institute at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
