Gretchen Korndorffer

Gretchen Korndorffer has a diverse range of work experience. Gretchen began their career as a Staff Accountant at MEDFirst Health Plans of Louisiana, Inc. from August 1997 to December 1998. Gretchen then worked as a Billing and Eligibility Coordinator/Benefit Analyst at Management Services USA from December 1998 to August 1999.

Gretchen joined Peoples Health in August 1999 as a Cash Analyst in the Finance department, where they worked until January 2004. Gretchen then transitioned to the role of Project Manager in the Medical Management department from January 2004 to April 2006. After that, they served as the Systems Manager in the Sales & Marketing department from April 2006 to December 2013. Gretchen then became the Assistant Director of Sales Operations in December 2013, before finally being promoted to Director of Sales & Membership Operations in September 2017.

In their most recent role, Gretchen worked as the Director of Sales & Membership Operations at Peoples Health. Their responsibilities included developing and implementing sales and marketing administrative systems and managing operational procedures to optimize sales and corporate enrollment goals. As the corporate administrator of the sales and membership customer relationship management system, they provided oversight of the internal and external call centers, and trained customer service representatives on Medicare rules, regulations, plan benefits, and systems.

Gretchen Korndorffer obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of New Orleans, where they studied from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended Louisiana State University from 1991 to 1994, focusing on Business Administration and Management. Gretchen completed their high school education at St. Mary's Dominican High School from 1987 to 1991. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained a certification as a Licensed Insurance Agent in Health & Accident from the Louisiana Department of Insurance in October 2011.
