Hal E. Carney

Hal E. Carney is the SVP, Director of Commercial Banking at PeoplesBank. Hal has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry.

Hal started their career as an Extension Agent with Penn State University Cooperative Extension. Hal then worked for CoreStates Bank / Meridian Bank for 14 years, eventually becoming the SVP. In 1998, they joined Sterling Financial / BLC as the EVP of Business Services.

Hal then moved to PNC Bank in 2008, where they worked as the Business Banking Market Manager until 2011. Hal then became the Risk Management Officer at F&M Trust until 2013, when they became the Chief Credit Officer at Integrity Bank. In 2015, they were promoted to Regional Credit Officer at Integrity Bank a Division of S&T Bank. Hal left that position in 2017 to become the SVP - Commercial Banking at S&T Bank. Hal left that position in 2018 and joined PeoplesBank as the SVP, Director of Commercial Banking.

Hal E. Carney received a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University.
