Mickey Austin

Mickey is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PeopleShores. He has over 35 years of global experience in helping companies achieve improved performance in IT and business process areas by focusing on business strategy, operating model transformation, service integration and continuous improvement. Mickey started his career working for the pioneer in outsourcing services, Electronic Data Systems, which was founded by Ross Perot.

Mickey’s international profile is highlighted by living and working throughout Asia Pacific for 13 years. He moved to Hong Kong in 1996 where he was responsible for EDS’ Asia Pacific financial industry practice for IT services outsourcing. He also served as the primary leader for EDS Country Managers in eleven different countries to help them establish and build their business and deliver to their clients. Mickey left EDS to join Ernst & Young (EY) as a US Partner, still based in Asia Pacific, as the leader of their Asia Pacific business process services practice. Before leaving Asia Pacific, Mickey worked for Accenture and then co-founded and established a business process outsourcing company based in Hong Kong. Since returning to the US Mickey has worked for PWC, Travelport and EY. Mickey received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Stephen F. Austin University.
