Andrew Williams

Andrew Williams, CISSP, CEH has 22 years of work experience in various roles related to cybersecurity and information technology. Andrew is currently a Cyber Lab Contractor Lead at PeopleTec, where they have been working since June 2019. Prior to that, they were a Senior Cyber Analyst at PeopleTec since June 2018.

From 2010 to 2017, Andrew worked at Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI). Andrew started as a Sales Associate at Wal-Mart in 1997 and held various roles in different companies including JMJ Systems, Honda Manufacturing of Alabama, Matrix Resources, and Kronospan.

Throughout their career, Andrew has gained expertise in areas such as information system security engineering, information security analysis, system administration, and IT support engineering. Andrew holds certifications in CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker).

Andrew Williams, CISSP, CEH, holds a Master's degree in Management Information Systems with a concentration in Information Security from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, which they completed from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Athens State University, completing it from 2010 to 2012. Their education history also includes attending Jacksonville State University from 1994 to 2004, although the degree and field of study are unspecified. In addition to their formal education, Andrew has obtained various certifications, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in 2016 and the Certified Ethical Hacker certification from EC-Council.
