Carrie Brandes

Carrie Brandes is a seasoned professional in the People and HR space, currently serving as a People Tech Startup Advisor at PeopleTech Partners since August 2024 and as VP, People & Talent at Finix since February 2021. Previously, Carrie held advisory roles at 15Five, contributing insights to senior leadership from product inception. As a founding member of Chief, Carrie played a vital role in supporting senior women leaders. In a mid-life career pivot, Carrie managed Caldwell Vineyard to create a generational legacy brand. Carrie also served as VP, Global People Experience at Redbubble, establishing foundational people practices, and as VP of People + Culture at Ubiquity Retirement + Savings, where a successful team was built under direct CEO collaboration. Earlier experiences include consultancy roles, recruitment management at Macy's West, and a background in fashion as an Assistant Buyer. Carrie has educational foundations from FIDM and Stanford Continuing Studies.
