Emily Hanson

Emily Hanson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Emily is currently working as an Advisor at PeopleTech Angels since June 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Platform at SemperVirens Venture Capital starting from November 2022. Emily also worked as the Director of Operations at PeopleTech Partners from November 2022.

Emily has entrepreneurial experience as a Co-Founder of Cyster Health from August 2021 to December 2022. Emily has also served as the Head of Innovator Relations & Strategic Partnerships at EHIR (Employer Health Innovation Roundtable) from March 2020 to April 2022.

Before venturing into the startup ecosystem, Emily had experience in operations management and recruitment. Emily worked as an Operations Manager, Healthcare Innovation at Tribeca Companies from October 2018 to March 2020. Prior to that, they held leadership roles at Robert Half Finance & Accounting, first as a Division Director from July 2018 to October 2018, and then as a Recruiting Manager from October 2017 to July 2018.

Emily also has experience in the retail industry, having worked at lululemon. Emily served as a Training Manager and Store Manager from September 2016 to October 2017, and as an Assistant Store Manager from September 2013 to September 2016.

Emily started their career at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where they worked in the Athletics Academic Support department from August 2011 to May 2013.

Emily Hanson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Development and also in Spanish and Iberian Studies from the University of Minnesota, where they attended from 2009 to 2013.
