Guissu Baier

Guissu Baier is an experienced advisor and human resources executive, who currently serves as an advisor at PeopleTech Partners. Baier has extensive experience in employment law and counseling, talent management, and employee engagement.

Baier began their career as a law clerk at the National Legal Sanctuary, before moving on to work as an attorney at Littler Mendelson. In 2011, they joined Visa as counsel for employment law, and four years later they became vice president of human resources at Instacart. Baier was responsible for dispensing pragmatic, data-driven, and actionable advice to the company's executive team in order to scale success and resolve challenging people and culture issues.

In 2019, Baier left Instacart to become an operating partner at Broadhaven Capital Partners and Broadhaven Ventures. However, they only held this position for a few months before returning to their current role as an advisor at PeopleTech Partners.

Guissu Baier attended Santa Clara University School of Law, where they obtained their J.D. Guissu also holds a B.A. in Economics & Global Studies from UC Santa Barbara.

They work with Shelby Wolpa - Austin Advisor Network Lead, Leia Marshall - Advisor, and Rana Robillard - Advisor. Guissu Baier reports to Cara Brennan Allamano, Founding Partner.
