Peoria Public Library
Sarah Couri has a strong background in library services, having worked at various institutions such as the New York Public Library, Grace Church School, and Peoria Public Library. With experience as a Senior Librarian and Director of Library and Information Systems, Sarah also taught Young Adult Literature and Services as an Adjunct Professor at Queens College. Sarah holds a BA/MLS in English, History, and Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

The Peoria Public Library, founded in 1880, is a tax-funded library system serving the city of Peoria, Illinois. A recent $28 million building program created a state-of-the-art library system including five completely renovated or newly-constructed library branch locations. A Bookmobile and Outreach Services provide services to those unable to go to a library location.
