Kristi Hammer

Kristi Hammer is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Principal at Peoria Unified School District since June 2014. Hammer has a diverse background in education, including roles as an Adjunct Professor at Grand Canyon University from August 2011 to May 2018, and various administrative positions within the Agua Fria Union High School District from June 2006 to June 2015. As an EAR Trainer, Hammer focuses on curriculum and instruction, staff development, and the implementation of Common Core State Standards. Previous experience also includes administrative roles at Copperwood Elementary and Cactus High School, along with teaching English at Snohomish High School and Cactus High School, where coaching and curriculum development were also key responsibilities. Kristi Hammer holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from City University of Seattle and a Bachelor's in English Secondary Education from Eastern Washington University.
