Tim Broyles has over 20 years of experience in the software engineering field. Tim began their career in 1995 as a Software Engineer at Rockwell Collins, where they created and ran functional and performance tests on the CACD's military grade GPS embedded module (GEM) III. In 1998, they moved to Allied Signal Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they coordinated with the test engineering to implement test cases and strategies for avionics GPS systems. In 1999, they joined Garmin International as a Software Engineer, where they created and implemented software designs for consumer based embedded GPS Aviation and Navigation products. In 2003, they became the Owner of Cass County Smiles. In 2007, they worked at Aerotek Engineering as a GE Transportation - Embedded Systems Software Engineer, consulting the Systems Engineering team on GPS logistics and logic issues regarding the Incremental Train Control System (ITCS) project. Tim also worked at Cerner Corporation as a Technical Support Analyist/ Software Specialist, providing second tier support for Cerner.com web applications. In 2008, they joined Evogen, Inc. as an Embedded Systems Software Engineer IV, directing the software engineering division and was responsible for the development of the software controlling the Automated Sample Prep, PCR, and air collection instruments. In 2012, they became a Consultant at Keyhole Software, working on various contracts and technologies, such as Spring Batch, SQL Server (TSQL), Oracle Cloud HCM, Spring Services, SPA, Maven, Jenkins, WordPress, PHP, Node.js, Meteor, Git, JavaScript, Backbone, Bootstrap, jquery, Python, EXT.js, and Salesforce. In 2018, they joined Pepper IoT as a Software Developer, writing front end/mobile solutions in React Native, Nativescript and Vue.js, as well as solving backend issues with Node.

Tim Broyles obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Kansas School of Engineering from 1991 to 1994. Tim then attended the University of Kansas School of Engineering from 1998 to 2000 to study Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. Tim attended the University of Central Florida from 1990 to 1991 to study Computer Engineering. Lastly, they obtained an MBA in Project Management and Information Systems from the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, they obtained an Advanced Design Patterns: Design Principles certification from LinkedIn in April 2021, and an Anatomy of Backbone.js certification from Code School.
