Goran Spinderk's work experience begins in 2007 as an Audit Intern at Ernst & Young in Croatia, where they worked on audit engagements and gained knowledge of EY's audit methodology and software tools. Goran then joined EY as an Accountant and later as a Senior Accountant, leading audit engagements and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. In 2014, Goran transitioned to the role of Assistant Manager, Banking, Capital Markets & Wealth, where they led various engagements and supported client projects. In 2016, they joined Bank of New Zealand as a Senior Finance Partner, providing financial analysis, reporting, and business partnering with stakeholders. Goran later became the Head of Group Financial Planning, Performance & Analysis at Heartland Bank before co-founding BFT, a fitness company, in 2021. Finally, Goran is set to join Pepper Money ANZ in 2023 as the Head of Planning, Pricing, and Performance.
Goran Spinderk completed their Master of Economics degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Zagreb/Sveuciliste u Zagrebu, from 2005 to 2013. In addition, they obtained a Chartered Certified Accountant degree in Accounting and Finance through the ACCA Qualification program, which they completed from 2010 to 2015. It is also worth mentioning that they pursued Senior Leadership Coaching in Organizational Leadership at the Australasian Leadership Institute, although the start and end years for this education are not provided.
