Maria Wright

Maria Wright, Ed.D., serves as the Senior Director of Administration and Operations and an Adjunct Professor at Pepperdine University since July 2013. In this role, Maria manages the Graduate School of Education and Psychology's (GSEP) strategic approach to training, development, and employee culture, focusing on talent acquisition and management. Additionally, Maria collaborates with faculty and staff as the Associate Program Director for the Masters of Education Programs and teaches courses in Action Research and Educational Foundations. Prior experience includes coordinating the Family Literacy Work Study Program at the University of Mississippi and serving in various roles related to multicultural affairs, orientation, and student engagement. Maria holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University and a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from the University of Mississippi, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Spelman College.
