Valerie Vollmer

Valerie Vollmer, CPCE, serves as the Senior Director of University Events at Pepperdine University since November 2012, where responsibilities include producing and managing high-quality events of significant campus-wide importance. Prior to this role, Valerie was the Assistant Director of University Events, supervising event managers and overseeing operational aspects, budgets, and marketing materials for diverse events. Valerie's background includes ownership of Catering Celebrations/The Plug Nickel Restaurant & Catering from July 2009 to September 2012, managing all business aspects, and experience as a Catering Sales Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village, specializing in diverse catering markets. Additionally, Valerie held the position of Director of Catering at The Plug Nickel Restaurant and Catering from 1986 to 2006, where contributions included overseeing catering departments and implementing innovative event concepts. Valerie holds an education from FIDM, completed between 1983 and 1985.
