Freedom John Ferrera

Freedom John Ferrera, Ph.D. has over 20 years of work experience in the IT industry. Freedom John is currently serving as the Head of IT Infrastructure and Service Management at Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines Inc. (PCPPI), a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as the Senior IT Manager - Infrastructure at PCPPI from September 2014 to September 2021.

Before joining PCPPI, they worked as a part-time IT Faculty at Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba from November 2004 to April 2016. Freedom John also served as the IT Assistant Manager at SAGARA METRO PLASTICS INDUSTRIAL CORPORATION from May 2009 to September 2014.

In addition, they have experience working at Accenture as a Senior Software Engineer/Team Lead from June 2008 to May 2009, and at Prople BPO, Inc. as a Senior Software Architect from February 2007 to June 2008.

Earlier in their career, they worked as a Computer Programmer at Luzon Development Bank from July 2002 to February 2007, and at Mosaic Communications from January 2000 to July 2001.

Freedom John Ferrera, Ph.D. earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Information Technology Management from Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba in 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Doctoral degree in IT from AMA University between 2012 and 2016. Freedom John also holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba, earned from 2004 to 2006. Freedom John'sundergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, was obtained from Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba from 1996 to 2000.
