Sílvia Casacuberta Serra

Immuno-Oncology Project Manager at Peptomyc

Sílvia Casacuberta Serra has extensive experience in the field of oncology research. Sílvia began their career in 2009 as a research fellow at the Institut de Recerca Hopital Universitari de la Vall d'Hebron. In 2010, they completed their Master's Thesis before moving on to a pre-doctoral position at the Vall d'Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR) in 2011. During this time, their work focused on inducing immunological tolerance using antigen-specific myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) and generating MDSCs for potential clinical applications. Sílvia continued their research at the same institution as a postdoctoral research scientist from 2016 to 2019. Additionally, they held a postdoctoral research scientist role at the Vall d´Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO) during the same period. Since 2019, Sílvia has been serving as the Immuno-Oncology Project Manager at Peptomyc.
