Janek Kibat

Janek Kibat has a diverse and extensive work experience.

Janek most recently worked at Peptone as the Director of Operations starting in August 2023.

Prior to that, Janek held various roles at AstraZeneca. Janek served as the Associate Director | Global Analytics & Insights from June 2022 onwards, and before that, they were the Chief of Staff | Oncology Leadership Team from February 2020 to June 2022.

Janek also worked at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Consultant from October 2017 to February 2020.

Janek has experience in project management in the pharmaceutical industry, having worked as a Project Manager - Pharmaceutical Development at Capnomed from November 2016 to April 2017.

Additionally, Janek worked as a Project Assistant at Sciomics - Enabling Precision Medicine from 2014 to 2015 and as a Pharmacist Trainee at Herz Apotheke from November 2012 to April 2013.

Janek started their career with internships at Sanofi from 2007 to 2010.

Janek Kibat completed their education in the following order:

- In 2005-2007, they participated in the Early Study Program at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.

- From 2007-2012, they obtained a Bachelor's, Master's degree, and Federal Pharmacist Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.

- In 2008-2010, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.

- From 2011-2012, they completed their Master's thesis in Chemical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

- In 2013, they obtained a Federal Pharmacist Diploma.

- From 2013-2016, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceutical Diagnostics at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and DKFZ German Cancer Research Center.
