Desong Yu

Desong Yu is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience across various high-profile companies. Currently serving as a Sr. Principal Software Engineer at Peraton since August 2019, Desong has also held roles as a Full Stack Developer at Dude Solutions and a Frontend Developer at both Sysomos and EBSCO Information Services. Desong's entrepreneurial spirit was demonstrated through the independent project as a founder and full-stack developer, focusing on applications using React/Redux and Firebase. Prior experience includes tenures at Oracle, Signal Innovations Group, IBM, and Space Systems Loral, specializing in software and firmware development, simulation models, and communication protocols. Desong holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
