Terry Ryan

Terry Ryan is a Principal Engineer at Peraton, where responsibility includes writing military specifications and technical documents for the Naval Sea Systems Command since July 2017. With a career spanning over four decades, Terry has held various roles in engineering and program management, including positions at Harris Corporation and Exelis. Terry's background also includes 24 years of service in the US Navy, where roles included commanding the USS Avenger and participating in various boards and centers. Education credentials include a Master’s Degree in Engineering from The George Washington University and a graduate degree in Strategic Defense from Forsvarets Hogskole. Additionally, Terry contributed as a board member for Camels Humps Skiers from 2010 to 2018, engaging in communication, fundraising, and trail work while promoting skiing.
