Al Adamsen has extensive work experience in the field of people analytics and future of work. Al is currently the SVP of Leader & Workforce Transformation at Perceptyx, a position they have held since 2024. Prior to that, they were the Founder & CEO of People Analytics & Future Of Work, starting in 2014. In 2008, they founded My Future of Work, where they focused on staying updated on how various factors, such as AI and outsourcing, impact work. Additionally, they co-founded Insight222 in 2017, where they worked as the Executive Director, facilitating learning and problem-solving in the workforce/people analytics space. Before that, they worked as a Trainer, Facilitator, & Advisor at Positive Coaching Alliance from 2006 to 2015. Al also held leadership positions at Kenexa, Infohrm, and Gap Inc., where they specialized in HR analytics, employee insights, and workforce planning. Al Adamsen's background also includes experience as a Leadership & Career Coach at People-Centered Strategies and as the Managing Director & Partner at ClearWater.

Al Adamsen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of California, Davis in 1989. Al later received a Master of Science (M.S.) in Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco in 2003. Prior to their college education, they attended St. Paul H.S. but did not pursue a specific degree or field of study there.
