Andy Horng

Andy Horng has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Andy is currently employed at Perceptyx as the Director of Data Science, where they lead the development of natural language processing (NLP) tools and merges technology with survey data to create a leadership development platform. Prior to this, Andy was the Co-founder and Head of AI/ML at Cultivate, a platform focused on improving collaboration and personal growth. Andy has also worked as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Samsung Next, where they developed machine learning models for Cultivate. Andy's earlier experiences include working as a Staff Research Associate at The Jagust Lab, a Software Engineer at Manifest, and an NLP/ML Engineer at Recommind. Andy also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the Computational Cognitive Science Lab at UC Berkeley, where they worked on Bayesian models and conducted experiments. Overall, Andy brings a strong background in data science, AI/ML, and behavioral analysis to their role at Perceptyx.

Andy Horng earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with High Honors in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley, between 2008 and 2012.
