Jonathan J. Kim

Jonathan J. Kim has over twenty years of experience in the legal industry. Jonathan J. began their career in 1997 as a Corporate Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, where they worked on IPOs, high-yield debt and equity issuances. In 2000, they became a Law Clerk to the Honorable Barrington D. Parker, Jr. at the United States District Court, Southern District of New York. The following year, they worked as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Leonard I. Garth at the United States Court of Appeals, Third Circuit. In 2003, they joined O'Melveny & Myers LLP as Counsel for Securities Litigation. In 2007, they moved to Goldman Sachs as Vice President & Associate General Counsel, Regulatory & Litigation, where they advised the firm on regulatory and litigation matters. In 2018, they became a Partner at Cooley LLP. Currently, they are General Counsel / Vice President, Head of Business Operations at Perchwell, a position they have held since 2022.

Jonathan J. Kim holds a J.D., Cum Laude, from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from Dartmouth College, where they majored in Philosophy and Russian Literature, graduating Magna Cum Laude and as a Presidential Scholar and Rufus Choate Scholar.
