Lydia Safir

Lydia Safir is an experienced Senior Process Engineer specializing in pet treats at Perdue Farms, where responsibilities include providing technical support for Co-Packers, ensuring product specifications, and managing product development from ideation to implementation. Prior experience includes work as an R&D Food Scientist at Butterball, LLC, where Lydia developed operational processes and collaborated with cross-functional teams, as well as an R&D Co-Op Student role at Perdue Farms, focusing on pet treat formulations and pilot plant trials. Lydia holds a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology from North Carolina State University and studied Food Science at the University of Adelaide. Currently, Lydia is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at North Carolina State University.
