Marie-Soazic Geffroy is a Partner at Perella Weinberg Partners leading the Firm’s Financial Institution Group in Europe.

Marie-Soazic Geffroy has over 20 years of Investment Banking experience during which she has advised financial institutions in Europe and Asia. Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners in 2021, Mrs. Geffroy was a Vice Chairman of Morgan Stanley Europe Investment Banking Division. She returned to Europe in 2017 from Asia where she acted as head of the Morgan Stanley FIG group. Over her tenure as Group Head, Mrs. Geffroy’s team established itself as the premiere FIG franchise in the Asia region.

During her career, Mrs. Geffroy has advised leading financial institutions across Europe, Asia, and the US on a broad range of strategic assignments for both M&A and capital raising including landmark IPOs such as China Construction Bank and AIA. While in Asia Mrs. Geffroy also advised key Fintech players including Zhong An and Lufax on their initial private placements. More recently in Europe, she advised Zurich Insurance Group on its acquisition of Metlife US P&C business and Swiss Re on its sale of Reassure to Phoenix. She joined Morgan Stanley in 1997 in the M&A team in London.

Marie-Soazic graduated from HEC (Hautes Etudes Commerciales) in France.
