Jay Mollica

Jay Mollica currently serves as the Senior Director of Digital Engagement at Pérez Art Museum Miami, where responsibilities include establishing the museum's digital department and implementing a comprehensive digital strategy that encompasses collection digitization, multilingual content, and open access initiatives. Previously, Jay held various roles including Mentor at the New Museum of Contemporary Art, Consultant as a self-employed professional, and Creative Technologist at SFMOMA, where notable projects received international media coverage. Other experiences include backend engineering at Thismoment and web development roles at the California Academy of Sciences, alongside earlier positions in freelance development and data analysis. Jay holds a Master of Arts in Interactive Media Art from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Connecticut.
