Paula Machado

Paula Machado is an award winning bilingual journalist and Regional Director for the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.

Machado, a former reporter for Spectrum News in Florida now provides her Social Media and Digital Brand experience to businesses as a strategist. Among the companies Machado has collaborated with include Walt Disney World Parks & Resorts and many more.

During her time in the news industry, she covered the 2016 Presidential elections, the Pulse Nightclub massacre, the devastation of Hurricane Irma in Florida and the massive exodus of Puerto Rican families moving to Florida after Hurricane Maria.Her journalism efforts received award-recognition from the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, Society of Professional Journalists and the Radio Television Digital News Association.

Previously, Machado drew from her news background to coordinate and manage global media coverage efforts for Walt Disney World. She currently assists Perez Technology with Digital Brand & Social Media efforts.

Paula is a proud Knight and graduate of the University of Central Florida.
