Vivek Pattanaik

Vivek Pattanaik is a highly skilled Principal Scientist II at Perfect Day, with extensive experience in optimizing fungal fermentation processes for scale-up since January 2020. Prior to this role, Vivek served as a Scientist at Anthem Biosciences Private Limited from May 2018 to January 2020, where responsibilities included the production of recombinant proteins, small molecules, and enzymes, as well as contributing to biotransformation projects. Earlier, Vivek worked as a Junior Research Scientist at Bhat Biotech India (P) Ltd from April 2016 to April 2018, focusing on improving PCR detection methods. Academic qualifications include a Master’s in Science with a specialization in Biotechnology from Karnataka State Open University, a PG Diploma in Fermentation and Bio-processing from St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University), and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from Odisha University of Technology and Research. Additional foundational education includes studies in physics, chemistry, mathematics, and computer science at Navyug School Sarojini Nagar in New Delhi.
