Lindsey Golden has a diverse and extensive work experience, starting in 2010 as a Judicial Intern for the Michigan Supreme Court. Lindsey then worked as a Student Attorney at the Environmental Law Clinic at the University of Michigan Law School. In 2011, Lindsey was a Sidley Fellow at the Indian Law Resource Center, where they researched international and foreign laws related to climate change projects. Lindsey later served as a Pro-bono student attorney for the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe, developing a plan for investigating child abuse and domestic violence cases. Lindsey then became an Associate General Counsel for the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe, before joining Ceiba Legal, LLP as an Of Counsel attorney. Lindsey also worked as an Independent Contractor Attorney before starting their own practice, Golden Counsel. Lindsey's most recent position was as the General Counsel for Collage.com, where they handled a wide range of legal matters related to contracts, copyright, corporate compliance, e-commerce, employment law, and employee benefits. Lindsey is currently serving as the General Counsel for PerfectRec.
Lindsey Golden obtained a Bachelor's degree with Highest Honors in History, Anthropology, and Native American Studies from the University of Michigan from 2003 to 2007. Subsequently, they pursued their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law at the University of Michigan Law School and graduated cum laude in 2012.
