Saswata Nag

Saswata Nag is an accomplished procurement professional with extensive experience in global strategic procurement, specializing in plastics, oils, and fats. Since April 2018, Saswata has served as the Global Procurement Manager for Plastics at Perfetti Van Melle, leading strategic initiatives to enhance procurement portfolios and optimize costs. Prior to this role, Saswata was with Unilever, where responsibilities included managing tropical oils and leading procurement for rigid plastics. Previous experiences also include roles at Kraft Foods, ConAgra Foods, Pidilite Industries, and IPCA, where Saswata developed comprehensive procurement strategies and managed substantial spend portfolios. Education includes a Post Graduate Diploma from the Indian Institute of Materials Management and a Post Graduation in Packaging from the Indian Institute of Packaging.
