Alexa Dehmel is a seasoned professional in the fashion and textile industry with over 25 years of experience. As the owner of CONSULTING & DESIGN in Munich, Alexa specializes in Performance Apparel Design, Functional Material Advisory, and sustainability initiatives. Alexa currently hosts the podcast "Designing the Future: Textiles and Transformation Talks" and contributes as a freelance journalist for EDM Publications. Additional roles include curating and consulting for various functional fabric forums and fairs, partnering with TEXPERTSCOLLAB to future-proof businesses, and leading the design and consulting efforts for GOLD'S GYM Global Performance Fitness Apparel Collection. Alexa has also founded BARTENSTEIN Academy, dedicated to sustainable and innovative functional clothing.
