Ernest Gilchrist has extensive experience in the food service industry, having held various senior leadership positions over several decades. After retiring in January 2016, Ernest has been focusing on personal interests and family. Prior to retirement, roles included Senior Vice President of Strategy and Integration at Performance Food Group from May 2008, Chief Operating Officer at Roma Foods-Vistar Corporation from 2002 to 2008, and OpCo President at US Foods from 2000 to 2002. Ernest also served as OpCo Senior Vice President of Sales at Sysco from 1993 to 2002, General Manager at Seaway Foodservices of Cleveland from 1974 to 1993, and General Manager at Brown Derby Restaurants from 1971 to 1974. Ernest holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration from The Ohio State University, earned between 1966 and 1969.
