Chong Chiu

Chong Chiu has vast experience in various roles and positions throughout their career. Chong started their professional journey as an Engineering Manager at Combustion Engineering, ABB in 1978. Chong worked there until 1985 when they joined Southern California Edison (SCE) as a Senior Safety and Engineering Manager and became a corporate Executive Member. After leaving SCE in 1997, they founded Performance Improvement International, LLC. in 1987. In 2004, Chiu became the Chief Executive Officer of Error-Free Inc. Currently, they hold the position of Chairman, Senior Nuclear Safety Oversight Board at Ningde Nuclear Station in China, starting from 2016.

Chong Chiu earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Nuclear Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 1975 and 1977.
